By accessing or using Scan The Date ("the Service") at scanthedate.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Scan The Date provides QR code generation tools for personal events and celebrations including weddings, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and similar occasions. Our Service allows you to create QR codes that link to external URLs, customize their appearance, download them, and (on paid plans) track scan analytics.

Paid plans are offered as one-time payments per event. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Refund policy: We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service, provided you have not downloaded your paid QR code files. To request a refund, email hello@scanthedate.com with your order details.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing purchases.
You agree to use Scan The Date only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
You retain ownership of the URLs and content you input into Scan The Date. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your event details, names, or linked content.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the URLs and content you link to in your QR codes are legal, accurate, and do not infringe on third-party rights.
QR codes generated by Scan The Date may be used for personal and commercial event purposes. Free plan QR codes are static and cannot be edited after creation. Paid plan dynamic QR codes can be edited at any time through your account dashboard.
We do not guarantee that QR codes will be scannable by all devices or in all conditions. Print quality, size, and lighting conditions affect scannability.
The Scan The Date name, logo, website design, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
The QR code files you download are yours to use freely for your personal events.
Scan The Date is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of QR scan analytics data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scan The Date shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
